We are delighted to announce the publication of the first paper from the MISSION Project, authored by Simon Hacks, Associate Professor at Stockholm University.

This paper introduces harborLang, a new threat modeling language designed for the maritime sector. Built on the Meta Attack Language (MAL) framework, harborLang tackles the unique security challenges in maritime transport by enabling the modeling and mitigation of potential threats. By integrating domain-specific maritime domain knowledge, harborLang provides stakeholders with the tools to construct comprehensive threat models, thereby enhancing decision-making and improving operational safety in seaports and vessel navigation.

You can access the full paper here.
