The MISSION project is pleased to announce its participation in the WISTA International Conference 2025, which will take place in Barcelona from 22–24 October 2025. This high-level international event is expected to bring together over 400 delegates from across the global maritime and trading sectors.
On Thursday, 23 October, Julia Pahl, Coordinator of the MISSION project, will deliver a keynote presentation introducing the project to a distinguished audience. The session will highlight MISSION’s contributions to advancing innovation and sustainability in maritime transport, with a focus on current and future challenges.
The overarching theme of this year’s conference, “Powering the Future of Shipping & Trade: Global Energy in Challenging Times,” provides an important context for dialogue on key topics including decarbonisation, electrification, and the role of emerging technologies in shaping the future of shipping and global trade.
Organised by WISTA International—a global association supporting women in shipping and trading, with more than 5,000 members in 65 countries—this event offers a valuable platform for exchange, collaboration, and visibility for transformative projects such as MISSION.
